The Occupational Safety and Health Administration´s (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR1910.1200), designates over 600 industrial chemicals as hazardous and regulates their handling and use in manufacturing.  The standard addresses requirements for containers, labeling, material safety data sheets (MSDS's), and employee training.
